Hit the North

And tons of other news

This weekend is Hit the North festival in Belfast which brings with it a whole ton of street art and sunshine with a hint of pints in the sunshine.
I will be painting near the Sunflower Public House on Sunday but before then I will be at the Hit the North street art market in Bullit Hotel courtyard this Thursday from 6-9pm.
This year HTN have commissioned me and five other artists to create a screen print to celebrate and raise funds for the festival and these are available exclusively through the Hit the North stall in the market or at the festival and here is a sneak peak of my piece.

I have a whole new series of signs scattered about Belfast some of which I have documented and uploaded to my street art page here.

And whilst taking photos and drawing onto Belfast’s ‘peace walls’ I have begun a series of tentative sketches which you can find here.

I have also designed this Mayday, Mayday poster for the opening of our first exhibition in the new gallery on Bedford Street and more information about the show can be found here.

And finally I have merch!
Yes, there are new Leo Boyd designed t-shirts for the coming sunny days and as they are print on demand I don’t have to worry my head about printing them and getting my painted hands all over someone else’s garment! I can leave that bit to the professionals.
New merch can be found over here.

Massive thanks for reading and I’ll see you out in the sunshine some day soon.

Cheers

Leo
